Hi, I’m Jasmine Girn.
A first-generation Canadian and second-generation South Asian artist, I spend my free time travelling across the world, capturing small moments in new places. With my mother’s vintage camera in hand, I adore taking film photographs to memorialize all the mundane and exciting moments in life. My work “Vermilion Reverie” was recently featured in an exhibition in Downtown Vancouver in June 2025. Check out my art portfolio above or my Instagram.
Previously, I was the Marketing Production Manager at Asana, an enterprise project management software company dedicated to helping the world’s teams work together effortlessly. At Asana, I led editorial operations as a Managing Editor before becoming the Marketing Production Manager for the wider Corporate and Brand Marketing department. During my time, I had the privilege of leading projects like the Anatomy of Work, publishing reports for The Work Innovation Lab, and launching Asana’s first digital magazine, The Workback.
Prior to this, I was the Managing Editor of Narcity Media. I worked with a team of like-minded writers dedicated to putting the city back in Narcity. Over the past few years, I’ve hired and trained dozens of fast-thinking journalists and editors across major cities in Canada and the United States. In 2019, I helped Narcity reach a record-breaking number of readers across North America.
